What is included in Standard website maintenance:

Backups

It is extremely important to ensure that your information is backed up to avoid losing hard-earned work, information and/or software. We will perform monthly backups of your site so that it may be fully restored in case of loss or compromise. If more frequent backups are required that may be requested at a different rate.

Website Core Updates

WordPress, a dynamic open-source content management system (CMS) which is used to power millions of websites. It currently powers more than 55% of websites on the Internet. We will monitor your website core to ensure that everything is working as it should and upgrade when necessary.

Theme Updates

Your Theme provides the “Look and Feel” of your web site itself. We will monitor your website theme to ensure that everything is working as it should and upgrade when necessary.

Plugin Updates

Plugins provide extra functionality to your website that are outside the core design of your website itself. We will monitor your website plugins to ensure that everything is working as it should and upgrade when necessary.

Security Scans

Because of the dynamic nature of the internet, vulnerabilities and attacks adapt and become ever more sophisticated by the day. You need to stay vigilant on what is happening on your site and behind the scenes. We will check for both malware and vulnerabilities on your site and notify you if any actions need to take place.

We also assure that your site remains as a “Safe Browsing Site” across the major assurance services and should your site ever fall out of compliance we can work with you to remedy the situation.

Performance Scans

A web page must load fast or it risks losing customers and revenue. Additionally, site speed is a ranking factor for good SEO and its also part of a good user experience. We will monitor you site for overall performance and advise on any issues.

Support Time

We include some support time with our standard care package as agreed upon, *outside repairs are charged at $150 an hour.

Reports

We will send you reports of all above activates on a regular basis. Once a month is typically sufficient for most clients but more frequent or adhoc reports can be discussed at a separate rate.
